InterActiveCorp Headquarters.  Advised InterActiveCorp in environmental issues during construction of a new Frank Gehry-designed headquarters in a re-emergent neighborhood in Chelsea. Assisted with negotiation of a Brownfield Cleanup Agreement, remediation contracts, and environmental insurance.  In June 2010, the building received a New York City Brownfield Award award from the New York City Brownfields Partnership in the "Green Building" category.  

JFK Terminal Redevelopment.  Assisted American Airlines in negotiation and implementation of a fast-track consent order for remediation of contamination at JFK Airport in tandem with construction of a new terminal.  In June  2010, the remediation project received a New York City Brownfield Award from the New York City Brownfield Partnership in the "Environmental Protection" category.  

Rail Projects.  Counseled transportation company in successful bid for a design/build/operate/maintain contract for the JFK light rail system and in financing for the Amtrak Northeast Corridor high speed rail project.

Spill Site.  Advised department store in responding to a release of petroleum to land and coastal waters, remediating coastal and subsurface impacts, and resolving conflicts with a purchaser/developer during construction of a new retail and entertainment establishment.

Newton County Wells Site.  Represented manufacturing client in investigation and remediation of a federal superfund site in Joplin, Missouri, and in related insurance recovery and tort litigation.

LTA Accreditation.  Assisted the New York land trust in the preparation of a successful application for accreditation by the Land Trust Alliance Accreditation Commission.

Conservation Easements.  Advised New York land trust in matters relating to acquisition of a property subject to a conservation easement and in conservation easement amendments.
