InterActiveCorp Headquarters.  Advised InterActiveCorp in environmental issues during construction of a new Frank Gehry-designed headquarters in a re-emergent neighborhood in Chelsea. Assisted with negotiation of a Brownfield Cleanup Agreement, remediation contracts, and environmental insurance.

JFK Terminal Redevelopment.  Assisted airline client in negotiation and implementation of a fast-track consent order for remediation of contamination at JFK Airport in tandem with construction of a new terminal.

Rail Projects.  Counseled transportation company in successful bid for a design/build/operate/maintain contract for the JFK light rail system and in financing for the Amtrak Northeast Corridor high speed rail project.

Spill Site.  Advised department store in responding to a release of petroleum to land and coastal waters, remediating coastal and subsurface impacts, and resolving conflicts with a purchaser/developer during construction of a new retail and entertainment establishment.

Newton County Wells Site.  Represented manufacturing client in investigation and remediation of a federal superfund site in Joplin, Missouri, and in related insurance recovery and tort litigation.

Michigan Manufacturing Site.  Assisted with connecting residents to public drinking water near a site contaminated with chlorinated solvents; developing a municipal water supply agreement, groundwater use restrictions, and deed restrictions; and resolving a dispute between two fortune 500 companies over their remedial obligations under a pre-CERCLA sale agreement.

LTA Accreditation.  Assisted the New York land trust in a standards and practices assessment and in the preparation of an application for accreditation by the Land Trust Alliance Accreditation Commission.

Conservation Easements.  Advised New York land trust in matters relating to acquisition of a property subject to a conservation easement and in conservation easement amendments.
